This sounds like kinda legit question, ignore the AI part. What keeps one using Python these days? Like you start a new project, why would you use Python? I can think of Python if you are working with AI ecosystem like PyTorch or data science. But what else 🤔

monkey can write code, llm can generate code, software engineer should be able to produce readable code. imo that kind of writing is a yet another AI psychosis effect. writer mainly provoking readers (and himself) with an intellectually arrogant question: "Why patch when you can port?" assuming everyone have the required skills, use LLM as good, have the same decision making process.

  Ah the love for Python? 🙈 I prefer Python for simple scripts, because IPython is so magic and writing quick stuff in Python's ecosystem feels nicer than others.
