Things I Got Wrong as a dev (Part 1) • Building a side project and building a real product are two completely different things. and I believe one can only understand the difference by actually doing it. • At scale, there's no such thing as a simple software product. Even a basic todo app serving millions of users is far more complex than your fancy side project. @selfmadecoder

TG Brain is live I mapped Ethiopian Telegram creators as a living 3D brain. Neuron by Neuron, then trained a model with all the data that exists. Every connection is real. It comes from who mentions whom, who posts about the same things, and how ideas have actually moved between channels. What you can do: Find yourself and see your neuron light up Trace the pathway between any two creators Test an idea and watch it spread. See who’d pick it up first, who’d pass it on, and why each one was chosen Share your neuron to your channel There is No AI guessing. The model learns only from what’s actually been posted. Go find your neuron 👇 https://tg-brain.pro.et/ If you’re in it, share yours. That’s how the brain grows

when building consumer products, follow the 3 S rule: • Simple: Easy to use and understand. • Slightly addictive: Give users reasons to keep coming back. • Sharable: Create moments and experiences users naturally want to share. @selfmadecoder

One thing I've learned recently: When you're on your own life quest, whether that's building a company or chasing something you've always wanted, you can only relate to your heroes so much. sure, there are core values, principles, and lessons you can learn from them. But your journey will be unique to you. And here's the thing: someone else's opinion of what you're capable of should never define what you believe is possible for yourself. It doesn't matter how experienced, successful, or established they are. they don't know what you're willing to learn, how far you're willing to push, or how many times you're willing to adapt and try again. At the end of the day, it's either to be or not to be. And that decision is yours, not anyone else's. @selfmadecoder
